Biography
Seila Eluan, fashion designer is a native of Brazil.
She knows first hand the what has become of her native land,
due to unsound manufacturing practices and farming that is destroying
the rain forest. It has impacted the ecology of the region and
the world, as well as displacing countless people who have thrived
for generations in this region.
Growing up in this region, she became farmiliar
with the plants of the rain forest and the people who poulated
these regions.
After some time designing fashion aperral, jewelry
and accessories, she realized that she could produce products
that were in harmony with the ecology of the region. She also
became aware that her efforts could have a posetive impact on
the population of the region, by encouraging them to harvest
materials in a manner that would not disrupt their homeland.
Her efforts have not only offered jobs to the inhabitants
of the forest, but have encouraged the preservation of the lands
in order to harvest materials that grow naturally on the forest
floor.
Seila also realized that there were natural alternative

natural materials dyes, pigments and process. This practice ensures
there is no negative ecological impact of the unique fashions

After residing in the United States for some time,
she saw there is a demand for unique fashions that people will
not only look fabulous wearing, but they can feel comfortable
they are doing their part in securing the continued preservation
of thes invaluable resources and enhancing the lives of the indigenous
